Mission Objectives ?The VTC Technician - Intermediate provides operational and technical support to AVCOE?s comprehensive video teleconferencing (VTC) infrastructure, supporting AVCOE?s high-volume conference room operations and facilitating critical meetings for staff and stakeholders.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide daily setup, configuration, and functional checks of VTC and A/V equipment for AVCOE conference rooms, supporting Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Polycom, and related platforms.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during scheduled and ad hoc VTC events, providing in-call support as required.
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on VTC and conference room technology, recommending equipment replacements or upgrades as needed.
- Conduct end user training and orientation on VTC systems and associated A/V hardware/software.
- Track inventory of conference room A/V/VTC equipment; document maintenance actions and incidents in system records.
- Support installation, integration, and configuration of replacement or new equipment in accordance with PWS and AVCOE G-6 direction.
- Coordinate VTC scheduling, room readiness, and technical support with meeting organizers and the CSSC as required.
