Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, FL is seeking a Transformation Specialist.
SUMMARY
The Transformation Specialist provides day-to-day support for the Transformation Office (TO) and company-wide transformation initiatives. This role requires a variety of skills including stakeholder engagement, coaching, problem-solving, progress tracking, and capability building. The Transformation Specialist engages with multiple departments to promote initiatives that positively impact financial performance and enhance company efficiency. The ideal candidate is comfortable working under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with Workstream Leads, Initiative Owners, and Sponsors to provide coaching and guidance on transformation methodologies and processes.
- Act as a peer and navigator for Workstream Leads, supporting initiative pipeline management and daily operations.
- Serve as a thought partner to TO Finance in building business cases and validating financial impacts of initiatives.
- Track the progress of transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and expected outcomes.
- Escalate unresolved issues and facilitate problem-solving sessions to address roadblocks.
- Lead daily stand-up meetings, idea generation sessions, and weekly Initiative Owner meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
- Prepare reports and document initiative results, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Collaborate with the Transformation Office to ensure process adherence, initiative pipeline management, and support for overall transformation infrastructure.
- Act as a champion for Initiative Owners, guiding them through the transformation process to improve their initiatives.
- Lead or manage workstream communications and prepare presentations for senior management.
- Challenge pace, ambition, and performance levels of transformation initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from a four-year college or university (MBA preferred), and at least three (3) years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
- Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world situations.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle both abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software, PowerPoint, word processing software, flowcharting tools, database management, and internet applications.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear.
- Frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- May occasionally be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Work environment may be loud at times.
- Must adhere to Mitsubishi Power and customer safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment such as hardhats, safety glasses, goggles, hearing protection, and fall protection.
