Reporting to an experienced private and public company CFO, this executive will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and compliance across all accounting and treasury-related activities, while scaling infrastructure to support Saviynt’s continued growth.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned accounting and finance leader with deep technical expertise in accounting (U.S. GAAP), global tax compliance and planning, cash management, and internal controls—particularly in a fast-paced SaaS or enterprise software environment. This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, supporting audit readiness, and preparing the company for future strategic milestones.

Direct reports include the Controller and Sr. Director of Tax, Treasury and Compliance. Saviynt currently has over 1,200 employees in 20 countries around the world. Current staff reporting to this role reside in the US and India.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Provide strategic oversight of all accounting operations, global tax planning and compliance, and treasury functions—leading a team of 25+ professionals across the U.S. and India.
    • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and oversee the company’s financial close, consolidation, and internal control frameworks to support audit and SOX compliance.
    • Design and implement scalable processes to support Saviynt’s continued international expansion and SaaS revenue growth.
    • Lead global tax strategy, including transfer pricing, indirect tax management, and international compliance in partnership with external advisors.
    • Develop and optimize global treasury and cash management programs, including liquidity planning, forecasting, investment, and banking relationships.
    • Act as a thought partner to the CFO and executive leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, capital structure decisions, and investor engagement.
    • Champion a culture of excellence by mentoring a high-performing team and aligning financial systems and processes with company objectives.
    • Represent the company in interactions with auditors, tax authorities, and financial partners while ensuring a best-in-class compliance posture.

WHAT YOU BRING

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
    • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in global accounting, tax, and treasury functions, including at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership capacity.
    • Deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, internal controls (SOX), and public company reporting standards.
    • Proven track record in scaling global finance functions in high-growth, enterprise SaaS environments; IPO or public company readiness experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong command of global tax strategy, transfer pricing, and cross-border compliance frameworks.
    • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing, geographically distributed teams.
    • Expertise in ERP and financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Tipalti, Avalara, Concur, Salesforce).
    • Executive-level communication skills and a strong presence with board members, investors, and strategic partners.
    • A forward-thinking, analytical mindset with the ability to drive change, improve performance, and support complex decision-making.
