at Florida’s Natural, you’ll lead Accounting and Finance teams to provide financial insights, support business decision-making while supporting FNG’s internal and external teams.
What you’ll do:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s operations, industry dynamics, and strategic goals.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and business stakeholders to support decision making processes.
  • Act as a trusted business advisor, leveraging data and analysis to drive growth and profitability
  • Take ownership of the general ledger, financial statements and GAAP compliance
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, while also interpreting and communicating financial results in a meaningful way to stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies and procedures to safeguard the organization’s assets while mitigating risks
  • Oversee accounts receivables, accounts payable and cash management functions ensuring efficient and accurate processing of transactions
  • Implement cash forecasting strategies to optimize working capital and support capital structure decisions
  • Continuously evaluate and improve transactional processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
  • Develop and execute treasury strategies to manage liquidity, cash flow and risk management activities
  • Assess financing options and make recommendations for capital structure optimization
  • Collaborate with banks, financial institutions and other stakeholders to ensure effective cash management and banking relationships.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively
  • Demonstrated ambition to advance into a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role
What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree Accounting, Finance or a related field required
  • CPA certification is required
  • CPG experience required
  • Master’s degree in accounting, business or finance strongly preferred
  • Proven experience in progressively responsible roles within accounting and finance, with a focus on business partnership, treasury management and leadership
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and align financial strategies and structure with broader business goals.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP, financial reporting and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in controllership functions, financial statement preparations and internal controls
  • Treasury management experience, including cash management, liquidity management, capital structure optimization and risk management
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and present insights in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders
  • Leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and developing high performing teams
  • Experience in collaborating with cross functional teams and senior leadership to drive success
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Thrives in an environment that is face paced and able to adapt to changing situation
