NFP is seeking a VP, Administration and Retirement.
The Vice President, Administration and Retirement's core responsibility is to drive new business to NFP business units (insurance, investments, administration and individual benefits) to educate, promote and market defined retirement distribution strategies that maximizes the agent’s success. This position must play a major role in enabling advisors and agents to capitalize on retirement service needs through training and education, product knowledge and promotion, as well as distribution marketing resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate across business units (insurance, investments, and individual benefits) to grow and promote core retirement investment strategy
- Manage overall Retirement Service options
- Manage multiple projects and facilitate meetings to accommodate financial planning and new business distribution strategic initiatives
- Develop and coordinate the delivery of distribution strategy training sessions and informational presentations
- Actively promote, educate and market distribution platform and advocate best of breed products and solutions for clients
- Participate in the recruiting process of both acquired and affiliated NFP companies
- Collaborate with various internal departments for applicable marketing tools and resources
- Travel up to approximately 30%
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITY:
- Ability to build rapport with key business units and gain cooperation from others
- Strong command and knowledge of financial planning arena including various investment products, markets, and retirement options
- Proven ability to develop and deliver training initiatives to various audiences
- Proven ability to drive sales and marketing results through a specified strategy
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution in Marketing, Financial Planning or related field
- 5 years or more of relevant work experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to operate in an office setting, which requires frequent sitting and or standing. Must be able to travel approximately 30%.

- Series 65 required

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 – $201,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
