Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven leader to guide the adoption and use of artificial intelligence across our organization. As Vice President of AI Strategy & Transformation, this individual will develop and deliver AI tools and solutions that make our business run more efficiently, solve problems faster, and improve profitability.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic insight with responsibility for both building AI-powered tools and systems as well as evaluating when to leverage third-party technologies or consultants. The incumbent will partner with key leaders across the business to embed AI into core operations and advance the firm's long-term growth goals.
Primary Responsibilities
AI Strategy & Roadmap Development
- Lead the creation of a clear and realistic AI roadmap that supports company goals.
- Translate enterprise challenges and goals into actionable AI initiatives that improve productivity and margins.
- Maintain a clear focus on measurable outcomes and scalability.
AI Tool Creation & Technical Execution
- Develop, and refine custom AI instances using leading platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Copilot etc.).
- Build tailored AI applications, such as intelligent assistants, data agents, or workflow automations, using low-code/no-code or custom scripting as needed.
- Run advanced analyses on structured and unstructured data using AI/ML techniques to uncover insights and drive data-backed decisions.
- Ensure quality, compliance, and reliability of AI systems and tools.
Use Case Delivery & Pain Point Resolution
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to identify high-impact AI use cases, particularly in areas like operations, marketing, finance, and client servicing.
- Evaluate where external consultants, vendors, or AI platforms are best positioned to solve complex pain points.
- Manage AI vendor relationships, RFPs, and integration planning when outsourcing is appropriate.
Technology & Compliance Coordination
- Partner with IT to ensure AI tools align with existing infrastructure and architecture.
- Maintain strict adherence to data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.
- Ensure all AI solutions are secure, compliant, and integrated responsibly within Meeder?s tech ecosystem.
AI Change Leadership
- Champion a data-driven, AI-enabled culture by building foundational literacy across departments.
- Deliver training and workshops to increase awareness, confidence, and usage of AI tools among non-technical teams.
- Promote ethical and inclusive AI adoption practices across the enterprise.
