POSITION DESCRIPTION
Vice President of Field Support
SUMMARY OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Field Support will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of outside service, our support engineers and customer relations. The Vice President of Field Support will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing the company’s outside services and contributing to its overall success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, mentor, lead and develop a team of employees, including a predominantly frontline workforce
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set performance goals and identify growth opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in processes and systems
- Senior leader for your business unit, collaborating with multiple departments, including finance, sales, contracts, human resources, and vendors
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
- Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability
- Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions
- Work with the finance team to ensure accurate financial accountability, reporting, forecasting, job costing and timely and accurate billing
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards
- Identify and mitigate operational risks
- Develop and maintain contingency plans for business continuity
- Drive and communicate operational performance and strategy to the executive team
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers
- Promote a culture of safety and accountability
- Travel as needed to support customers, sales and marketing efforts and our production and refurbishment facilities
- May be assigned to other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or related field preferred
- Ten plus years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience in a senior operations management role, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing large teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Track Record of driving operational improvements and achieving performance goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
- Travel requirement approximately 25%
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
