Moat Mountain Celebrating our 25th Year! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
- Monitor tables for guest needs, refilling drinks, clearing dishes, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and adhering to sanitation guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, demonstrating knowledge of food safety practices.
- Provide support to host/host staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
- Familiarity with Matre D, Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and culinary experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
