Position Summary
The Wax Specialist provides professional hair removal services, focusing on comfort, hygiene, and customized client care. You’ll perform waxing treatments (brows, facial, body, and bikini), educate clients on aftercare, and help maintain a smooth, high-end guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform waxing services with precision, cleanliness, and care
- Create a comfortable and welcoming experience for each guest
- Consult with clients to understand skin sensitivities and preferences
- Educate clients on post-wax care and maintenance
- Maintain strict sanitation and infection control standards
- Keep your treatment area clean, stocked, and guest-ready
- Support front desk and team members as needed during downtime
- Build client relationships and promote rebooking and retail products
- Stay current with trends and best practices in waxing and skincare
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Esthetics or Cosmetology License (Required)
- Experience in body and facial waxing preferred (but not required)
- Excellent client communication and service skills
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
