Position Overview:
The Wok Cook will be responsible for cooking hot dishes on the wok station, following recipes and quality standards. This role requires speed, precision, and strong knowledge of Asian cooking techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook stir-fried, sautéed, and noodle dishes using the wok.
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Manage cooking times and heat levels for optimal taste and texture.
- Keep wok station stocked, organized, and clean at all times.
- Assist with prep work and ingredient preparation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following food safety regulations.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Qualifications:
- Prior wok cooking experience preferred, especially in Thai or Asian cuisine.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of cooking techniques and flavor balance.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stand for extended periods and handle high heat.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a busy, hot kitchen environment.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 36 per week
