POSITION:

Women's Tennis Assistant Coach: The Department of Athletics invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Coach within Collective Bargaining Unit 3. The assistant women's tennis coach will assist in the everyday operations of the program which may include: assisting with practices, games, film breakdown, scouting, recruiting, academic progress, and other duties assigned by the head coach.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's degree required is required. Other minimum qualifications include: Experience at the four-year level of coaching or playing tennis, excellent oral and written communication skills are required and a valid driver's license is required for travel, must pass defensive driving and DMV check.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A potential candidate’s consideration will be enhanced by providing evidence of: Playing experience, preferably at the four-year level, Ability to organize and administer practice sessions, ability to navigate social media, multi media and go pro, demonstrated ability to provide competent support in the administrative requirements of a tennis program (travel coordination, reconciliation of documents, scheduling, and recruiting), First Aid and CPR certified.

CSU Stanislaus sponsors 14 intercollegiate athletic programs at the NCAA Division II level. The university sponsors the following intercollegiate athletic programs: M/W Soccer, M/W Cross Country, W. Volleyball, W. Indoor Track, M/W Basketball, Softball, Baseball, M/W Outdoor Track and Field, M. Golf, and W. Tennis. The programs participate in the highly competitive California Collegiate Athletic Association with 11 other institutions in state.
