About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, data-obsessed YouTube Specialist to take full ownership of our YouTube presence. This isn’t a “just post and pray” gig—we want someone who understands the platform, lives in the analytics, and knows how to turn content into a growth engine.
From strategy and optimization to publishing and performance tracking, you’ll be the driving force behind making our YouTube channel a go-to destination.
What You’ll Do
- Lead YouTube channel strategy, planning, and execution from top to bottom
- Research trends, keywords, and algorithm shifts to keep content discoverable and competitive
- Optimize titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, playlists, and end screens to increase views and subscriber growth
- Manage a content calendar and publish videos consistently (long-form + Shorts)
- Collaborate with the creative team on video concepts, scripts, and production plans
- Analyze YouTube Analytics to provide insights and recommendations that drive engagement, retention, and conversion
- Run A/B tests on thumbnails, headlines, and post timing
- Monitor platform changes and best practices to keep our approach sharp
What You Bring
- 2+ years managing and growing YouTube channels (personal brand, agency, or client-side)
- A strong understanding of the YouTube algorithm, content SEO, and audience retention techniques
- Demonstrated ability to scale views, watch time, and subscribers
- Experience with tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, Canva, Adobe Premiere, or Final Cut Pro
- Bonus: You’ve grown channels in lifestyle, fitness, culture, tech, or entertainment
- You’re autonomous, fast-moving, and take full ownership of results

Job Types: Freelance, Contract
Pay: $24.93 - $30.02 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
