As a Warehouse Leader (f/m/d) at GE Healthcare GmbH, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient material flow, accurate inventory management, and a safe working environment. Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, including performance management, training, and development.
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting, ensuring compliance with established procedures and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory and conducting regular stock checks and resolving discrepancies.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency, space utilization, and productivity.
- Ensure adherence to all GE Healthcare quality standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., medical device regulations), and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as production, planning, and logistics to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and reduce costs.
- Operate and oversee the use of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) guidelines.
- Generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field; alternatively, a completed vocational qualification with relevant professional experience
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing or healthcare environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, and logistics processes.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent German and good English

- We offer a role specific compensation and a competitive salary and fringe benefit package reflecting your profile and experience.
- In Austria we are required to state the minimum pay. For this position, the annual compensation package starts at € 70.000. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
