We have partnered with a Vic State Government Agency on a The Security Access Modernisation (SAM) project and are looking to place a Business Analysts to join our team on a 5 month contract basis with a possibility to extend.

The role will be based in Melbourne.

The Role:

Full migration from legacy systems to AppConnect, following the successful replacement of Tivoli Access Manager with IBM Security Verify Access and the transition of internal user administration in 2024.

The current focus is on migrating Tier 1 and Tier 2 applications from eBusiness to AppConnect, which offers federated authentication, self-service onboarding and automated governance. Completion is targeted for FY25/26.

The Business Analyst will work with the project team to handle application migrations, including planning, coordinating and delivering user migration activities for applications transitioning to the Department User Onboarding Tool and Microsoft Entra ID authentication, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Proven experience providing Agile business analysis/functional analysis services.
• Previous working knowledge of LDAP, Microsoft Entra ID and Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts. including .NET development experience will be value-added.
• System integration experience.
• Extensive experience with documenting business requirements and functional design through user stories, wireframes, screen mock-ups, etc.
• Experience in negotiating with business stakeholders, users, technical staff and product owners to achieve desired outcomes.
• Ability to lead workshops and work directly with solution stakeholders.
• Experience in undertaking process re-engineering, including capturing business processes as-is and to-be states in process flows.
• Prior knowledge of working with government departments and/or the health industry.
• Government experience preferred.
