Business Systems Project Manager

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year

Are you an experienced Business Systems Project Manager who enjoys improving the way businesses operate through technology, better processes and smarter systems?

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Business Systems Project Manager to join our team and lead the implementation, optimisation and continuous improvement of business systems across the organisation.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with management, operational teams, software providers and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical technology solutions that improve efficiency, data integrity, customer experience and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the implementation of new business systems and software platforms across the organisation
• Developing and managing project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables
• Reviewing existing workflows and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
• Mapping and designing improved business processes aligned with system capabilities
• Managing software vendors, consultants and implementation deliverables
• Coordinating system upgrades, enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives

• Delivering workshops, one-on-one training and ongoing support to users
• Monitoring project budgets, timelines, risks, issues and implementation outcomes

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience implementing business software or enterprise systems
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end software implementation projects
• Strong knowledge of business process mapping and workflow optimisation

• Strong project planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience developing policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint and cloud-based platforms
• Exposure to ERP, CRM or construction management software
• A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or a related discipline (desirable)
• Experience within the construction or insurance building industry will also be advantageous (desirable)
