Conference and Events Coordinator
Job description
As the Conference & Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in bringing events to life. Collaborating closely with our centralised C&E team, you will create Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), liaise with clients, and ensure seamless execution by working directly with the Food and Beverage team.
Primary Responsibilities
Liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand event goals, create event plans, and keep everything on track with budgets and schedules
Execution of conferencing and events including weddings
Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during the event, striving for perfection
Coordinate logistics, including equipment, contractors, resources, and personnel involved in and supporting the event
Maintain a polished and professional image as a representative of our company, ensuring a consistently high standard of service
Flexibility to assist with service in Food & Beverage departments during quieter periods
Skills & Experience
Experience in coordinating events and weddings, along with strong client relationship management, is highly desirable
Strong administrative skills and meticulous attention to detail is essential
Skilled in collaborating with suppliers, vendors, and clients to negotiate favourable terms that benefit all parties involved
You foster a can – do approach with exceptional time management skills
Flexible availability to accommodate various events and shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
