REDARC is looking for a talented Customer Program Manager to work a full time permanent position on Lonsdale. Position Purpose

This is a critical commercial and technical role that works directly with customers and cross-functional teams to turn special product features and unique customisation opportunities into profitable, practical outcomes. The role combines customer relationship management, contract negotiation and disciplined project leadership within an electronics engineering and product management environment.

What you will be doing

  • Negotiate and manage customer contracts, pricing, variations and changes across the project lifecycle
  • Lead quotations, business cases and investment justification to support profitable customer programs
  • Manage Change for customers during project and through life.
  • Negotiate prices and costs of change.
  • Flag and manage obsolescence.
  • Lead quality fixes through the Manufacturing System.
  • Take ownership of project scope, specifications, schedule, budget, quality, resources and non-recurring costs.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, and manage risk registers, contingencies and accurate status reporting.
  • Lead project meetings, reviews, governance gates and change activities, ensuring commitments and deliverables are achieved.
  • Partner directly with customers to define clear, mutually beneficial requirements and maintain open transparent communication throughout the project life.
  • Monitor project performance, manage risks and issues, and implement corrective action when required.
  • Ensure customer requirements, cost-of-goods targets, safety standards & product quality expectations are met.
  • Apply lessons learned and continuously improve project management practices, systems and ways of working.
  • Liaise with the internal functional managers required to achieve NPD projects – Sales, Finance, Supply, Engineering, Risk, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing and Operations.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing management, an engineering discipline or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
  • Qualified Project Manager or equivalent relevant expertise gained from experience.
  • Demonstrated ability in the implementation of complex, high-priority projects, while considering competing business interests.
  • Project management experience managing multi-disciplined projects from conception to completion.
  • Proven ability to understand technical specification, supplier/customer contracts and to build long term customer relationships.
  • Excellent customer facing skills for negotiating sell price and win-win with OEM’s and B2B direct relationships.
  • Sound knowledge of the electronics design and manufacturing process and working environment.

Location of work: This role is fully based on site in Lonsdale, SA 5160. While ongoing work-from-home arrangements are not offered, flexibility may be supported on an ad-hoc basis where operationally appropriate.
