Salary: $57.58 per hour + Salary Packaging
Fixed-Term Full-Time (until 30 June 2027) | 80 hours per fortnight + monthly ADO
$57.58 per hour (HS6) About the Role
The Cybersecurity Analyst will support the Cybersecurity and Digital Health activities to ensure secure commissioning of technology solutions at Grampians Health, particularly in relation to the Ballarat Base Hospital Redevelopment (BBHR) program of works.
The Cybersecurity Analyst will collaborate closely with the Digital Health teams, BBHR project teams, Grampians Health and Grampians Rural Health Alliance (GRHA) stakeholders, and vendors to determine cybersecurity requirements for technology implementations for BBHR and provide expert recommendations in alignment with our cybersecurity frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments of proposed and existing technology solutions, including the review of system architecture and design documentation, to identify security risks and gaps.
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting activities across redevelopment and digital transformation projects.
- Contribute to the design, enhancement, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity controls, policies, standards, and procedures to strengthen organisational security governance.
- Assess existing technologies and infrastructure to identify security uplift requirements and recommend improvements to meet current and future cybersecurity standards.
- Support the integration of cybersecurity considerations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring security requirements are addressed from planning through to implementation.
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and foster strong stakeholder engagement to support secure and compliant technology outcomes across the organisation.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary degree in information technology, computer science or computer systems engineering discipline, or Relevant Industry Certifications such as MCSE, MCITP:EA, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CASP+, etc. or 5+ Years relevant industry experience
- Knowledge and experience Cybersecurity systems and tooling, such as SIEM and EDR
- Understanding of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance activities and associated frameworks
- Experience in delivering IT services in enterprise size organisations
