Job description

Ever wanted to get involved in a major transformation right from the beginning, help shape the direction and stay for the journey?

We're working with a large, complex Perth organisation embarking on a significant Oracle Fusion ERP transformation. They're right at the starting line, preparing to engage their systems integration partner, and need an experienced Enterprise/Principal Architect who knows what good looks like.

This isn't a role where you'll sit back, review a few designs and leave the heavy lifting to the integrator.

We need someone who knows Oracle, understands end-to-end enterprise architecture and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, challenge decisions and dig into the detail.

Embedded within the ERP transformation team, you'll be the organisation's technical voice, ensuring the architecture is sound, the integrator is accountable and potential problems are identified before they become expensive ones.

What you'll be doing

  • Shaping the end-to-end architecture for a major Oracle Fusion ERP transformation.
  • Working closely with the systems integrator, reviewing designs, challenging recommendations and holding them accountable.
  • Identifying technical gaps, integration challenges, dependencies and delivery risks.
  • Ensuring Oracle integrates effectively with existing enterprise applications, data and technology platforms.
  • Providing hands-on architecture leadership across the program, from initial design through to implementation.
  • Working with business leaders, technical teams and vendors to make informed, practical technology decisions.
What we're looking for
  • Strong Oracle Fusion Cloud architecture experience is essential.
  • Proven experience working on large-scale ERP implementations or enterprise transformation programs.
  • A strong understanding of end-to-end enterprise architecture, including applications, integrations, data and security.
  • Experience working with and challenging major systems integrators.
  • Someone technically strong, hands-on and confident enough to question designs and identify gaps.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to balance technical detail with the bigger business picture.
  • SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Must be based in Perth, Western Australia.
Why this opportunity?

This is a long-term contract with a major organisation investing in a significant technology transformation.

You'll be involved from the very beginning, have a genuine say in the architectural direction and be part of the journey as the program takes shape and moves through delivery.

We're looking for someone who wants to get invested in the program, take ownership and see the transformation through.
