Sales Executive - Group & Catering, Multi Property

Melbourne | Sheraton Melbourne, Courtyard Melbourne & Element Melbourne Richmond

Representing Sheraton Melbourne, Courtyard Melbourne Flagstaff Gardens and Element Melbourne Richmond, you'll have the opportunity to work across three distinct Marriott brands, unlock new business opportunities and play a key role in one of the most exciting commercial evolutions in our Melbourne portfolio.

What you'll be doing

You'll be at the centre of the action, working with clients, event planners, businesses and internal hotel teams and above property leadership to convert opportunities into memorable events and profitable business.

Your day could include:

• Responding to group accommodation and event enquiries
• Building proposals that win business
• Following up leads and driving conversion
• Conducting hotel site inspections
• Managing client relationships from enquiry through to handover
• Working closely with Revenue, Operations, Event Planning, GSO and Market Sales teams
• Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing accounts

We're looking for someone who:

• Loves building relationships and closing deals

• Is proactive, curious and willing to learn
• Has hotel, events, hospitality or sales experience (preferred, but not essential)

Most importantly, we're looking for attitude. We can teach systems and processes. We can't teach energy, drive and a genuine desire to succeed.
