About the role

We have an opportunity for a General Administrative Support Officer to be part of our Riverina, Police District. As a General Administrative Support Officer you will be part of a professional and supportive team providing essential administrative services to frontline Police. Based in the regional town of Wagga Wagga, this position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, delivering quality customer service and working in a collaborative environment.

Your days will be diverse and rewarding, with responsibilities including\:

  • Station Assistance – helping our officers in the front counter area by providing friendly, professional support both over the phone and face-to-face
  • Court Processes – undertaking administrative duties to support legal processes
  • Administration Duties – manage correspondence, records and business documentation, maintain accurate information in electronic systems and databases, assist with reporting, scheduling and general office administration and respond to customer enquiries and provide timely assistance
