SEDA College is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team located in Camberwell.
About the role
In this position, you are the primary IT contact for SEDA College (Victoria) staff. You will address and resolve IT inquiries, problems, and requests, and manage the IT Support Ticket queue. You are designated with frontline responsibility for support and maintenance of the desktop, Windows servers, Active Directory, storage and network infrastructure and prescribing appropriate solutions in response to staff requests or teaming with IT colleagues to develop and implement such solutions. This role requires strong customer focus, the ability to take on responsibility and work independently to deliver business focused outcomes within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Key responsibilities
- Provide first level support for all IT helpdesk enquiries and manage ticket queues servicing staff, students and parents as required
- Ensure tickets are resolved in a timely manner subject to SLAs
- Provide support to end users by way of responding to requests, resolving problems, working with the Head of Information Technology and various other staff on solutions
- Support and maintain Azure, Entra and Intune environments, Active Directory, Windows Servers and Storage, Cloud and On-Premises infrastructure
- Responsible for day to day IT Support and Backup management
- Prescribe and implement system improvements
- Provide software support for user applications, including support in basic to advanced software operations and general use of computers and peripherals
- Configure, install, and support desktops, notebooks, printers and other general peripherals
- Maintain Standard Operating Environment, re-image machines as required and manage deployment to end users
- Liaise with third party support vendors
About you
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an IT Helpdesk or Support role
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with team members and staff at all levels, as well as with external suppliers and contractors
- Ability to build, configure and support Windows Servers and Windows 11 end-user machines
- Experience in Active Directory administration, M365, and Windows 11 support
- Previous exposure to Azure, Entra and Intune regarded favourably
- Technical knowledge and analytical skills to identify complex system issues and coordinate an effective resolution including a high level of understanding of Microsoft Office products
- Proven ability to use initiative and work autonomously as well as the ability to work productively as part of a team
- Proactive in trouble shooting and resolution of support issues
- High level oral, written and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively negotiate, collaborate and communicate with a range of audiences and stakeholders both internal and external
- Current Working with Children Check and Police check are required
