Job description

Salary: $40-$50 plus super

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Professional to join our global client on a part-time basis, working 2 days per week.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support to end users, ensuring IT issues are resolved efficiently and providing a high level of customer service in a professional enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1/Level 2 IT support to end users.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and application-related issues.
  • Provide desktop, laptop and peripheral support.
  • Install, configure and maintain computers, software and IT equipment.
  • Manage user access, accounts and permissions where required.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
  • Respond to and manage IT incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
  • Log, update and maintain incidents and service requests in the ITSM/ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate internal teams or vendors.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment setup and collection.
  • Assist with IT asset management and maintaining accurate equipment records.
  • Follow ITIL, security and organisational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge articles and technical documentation where required.
  • Provide clear and professional communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with internal IT teams and global support teams.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an IT Support, Desktop Support or Service Desk role.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops/laptops and peripherals.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and common enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of basic networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience working with ITSM/ticketing systems.
  • Good understanding of ITIL principles and incident/service request management.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Professional approach with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability and willingness to work 2 days per week.
