We're excited to be recruiting for an innovative Climate Technology platform that's making a positive impact worldwide by raising awareness of climate change. They’re looking to welcome a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team and support their exciting plans to improve their platforms.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape and own a modern AWS platform, collaborate with a talented engineering team, and build secure infrastructure that grows with their needs, helping to deliver faster solutions. What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and evolve a secure, scalable AWS cloud environment
• Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines for speed, reliability, and security
• Partner with engineers to improve deployments, automation, and developer experience
• Manage cloud networking, security, and performance (VPC, IAM, CDNs, firewalls)
• Monitor and optimise cloud costs and reliability
• Support and improve security and compliance practices (ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• Create clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS
• Scripting for automation (Python, Bash, TypeScript)
• Proven experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines in production
• Experience with Docker and container platforms (ECS, EKS, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and best practices
• Comfortable taking ownership and working autonomously
• Clear communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams

This role demands an autonomous, can-do mindset focused on enabling the business and its customers. You'll be the go-to person for infrastructure and information security. Designing cloud solutions, optimising CI/CD pipelines, liaising with auditors, managing security questionnaires, and leading the internal systems. You'll also play a vital role in helping the business leverage AI securely and effectively.
