Senior Finance Manager
Job description
Lendlease is a real estate business that operates as three deep capabilities of Investments, Development and Construction. Since our inception in the 1950s, we have been a strong purpose-led organisation and an industry leader – believing in the key role real estate plays in shaping our cities, our communities and our planet, and the positive legacy we can create.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team on a 15-month fixed term contract covering a period of parental leave based in Sydney. This is a highly visible opportunity to step into a pivotal Group level role, make an immediate impact, and work closely with senior leaders during a critical period for the business.
Reporting to the Group Head of FP&A and partnering with another Senior Finance Manager, you will take ownership of a fast-paced reporting function that underpins executive decision-making and drives performance across the Group.
This role offers variety, influence, and challenge, spanning monthly Group reporting, the Annual Business Plan and biannual external market reporting that respond to evolving organisational priorities. Your work will be seen, valued, and relied upon.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the Group consolidation, analysis, and monthly management reporting process, delivering clear, insightful and timely reporting on performance and key business drivers.
- Manage and support FP&A team members (internal and outsourced), while remaining hands on with critical reporting submissions.
- Drive delivery of the annual Group Operational Plan, including 5-year financial forecasts and Board level reporting.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver year-end external market reporting and support analyst engagement.
- Review Group Treasury forecasts and credit metrics, applying strong capital management expertise.
- Contribute to ongoing Finance Transformation and systems initiatives.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the Group and provide guidance and coaching to FP&A team members.
About You:
- CA or CPA qualified, with ideally 8+ years’ post‑qualification experience in Management Reporting and/or FP&A.
- Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager, or a high‑performing Finance Manager ready to step up.
- Exposure to capital management or experience within one of Lendlease’s operating segments will be highly regarded.
- Strong analytical and data visualisation skills, with the ability to distil complexity into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced capability across financial systems (Oracle Fusion, TM1) and Excel.
- A hands‑on, delivery‑focused mindset, with the confidence to operate at pace and influence senior stakeholders.
This is an ideal opportunity for a senior FP&A professional who enjoys stepping into complex environments, adding value quickly, and working at Group level. Offered as a 15-month fixed-term parental leave cover, the contract period allows for a meaningful onboarding prior to taking the lead on half-yearly reporting. You will be trusted with responsibility, exposed to senior leadership, and given the scope to make a tangible impact over the contract period.
