The position

As our Senior Platform Engineer, you'll build and improve the cloud platform that enables our developers to deliver high-quality software for our customers. We combine the latest technologies and techniques to build and run a modern, secure, and resilient platform hosting critical workloads for both our internal systems and our customers.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you'll be a senior technical leader within the team. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Optimising pipelines: Develop and manage our build and deployment pipelines, driving continuous improvement in deployment velocity, security, and reliability.
  • Kubernetes cluster management: Oversee our Kubernetes environment, including advanced cluster provisioning, container networking, security hardening, performance optimisation, and strategic upgrade planning.
  • Leading incident response: Lead incident response efforts for critical cloud infrastructure issues and conduct comprehensive post-incident reviews (PIRs) to prevent recurrence.
  • Elevating standards: Drive the adoption of innovative cloud solutions, continuously elevating our team's standards, technical capabilities, and best practices.
