Your new role

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions across a large-scale re-insurance platform uplift. Working closely with Enterprise Architects, project teams, business stakeholders and external vendors, you will ensure solutions are aligned to enterprise standards while supporting successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing scalable, integrated solution architectures across complex business and technology landscapes.
• Translating business and technical requirements into high-quality solution designs.
• Producing and reviewing high-level and low-level solution architecture documentation.
• Providing architectural leadership across internal and vendor delivery teams.
• Working closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and technology strategy.
• Supporting the successful delivery of a large-scale insurance platform transformation program.
• Collaborating with business, delivery and technology stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect within the insurance or broader financial services sector.
• Previous experience delivering finance transformation programs in an architecture capacity.
• Strong understanding of finance platforms, financial processes and enterprise application integration.
• Strong core Solution Architecture expertise, including application, integration and data architecture.
• Demonstrated experience producing both high-level and detailed technical solution designs.
• Experience working across internal development teams and external vendors to deliver complex solutions.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide architectural direction throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Experience working closely with Enterprise Architects within complex enterprise environments.

Highly desirable:

• Experience with Duck Creek.
