MissionOverview
Responsibilities
- Analyse and document existing KYC, KYI, AML, and Transaction Monitoring processes, workflows, and procedures.
- Map AS-IS processes and contribute to the definition, design, and implementation of TO-BE processes and target operating models.
- Identify operational pain points, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, unnecessary manual activities, duplication, and control gaps.
- Perform root-cause analysis to understand why operational issues occur.
- Translate identified problems into clear and structured problem statements, including operational impact, affected stakeholders, and underlying causes.
- Develop and assess practical solution proposals to address operational issues, including benefits, requirements, dependencies, and risks.
- Provide recommendations on process improvements and support stakeholders from problem identification to implementation.
- Challenge existing ways of working and proactively identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, automate, or redesign activities while maintaining Financial Security and control standards.
- Support the implementation of agreed solutions and ensure appropriate follow-up until operational improvement is delivered.
- Support the implementation of new or updated KYC policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, translating them into practical operational processes.
- Contribute to the standardisation and harmonisation of Financial Security activities, including templates, workflows, controls, guidance, and reporting.
- Support the preparation and transition of selected activities to a centralised Delivery Center.
- Coordinate and support knowledge transfer activities between local teams and the Delivery Center.
- Assess whether processes are sufficiently standardised, documented, and operationally mature before transition.
- Develop and maintain Work Instructions, process documentation, training materials, onboarding content, and operational guidance.
- Work closely with operational teams and Subject Matter Experts to capture operational knowledge and translate it into clear, structured, and sustainable processes and documentation.
- Support the preparation and delivery of training, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Provide PMO support across Financial Security transformation initiatives, including planning, action tracking, milestone monitoring, dependency management, risk and issue follow-up, and reporting.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across Financial Security, Compliance, Permanent Control, Business, Business Support, IT, and other relevant functions to ensure follow-up and implementation of actions.
- Translate meetings, operational discussions, and stakeholder requirements into clear action plans, business requirements, process documentation, and deliverables.
- Prepare structured management presentations, status updates, dashboards, analyses, and decision-support materials.
- Monitor operational KPIs and transformation indicators, identify trends, and use data to highlight operational issues and improvement opportunities.
- Support the implementation and follow-up of new tools, workflows, and operational solutions.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual workload and improve the use of Excel, reporting solutions, and existing systems.
- Support Change Management activities, including impact assessments, stakeholder coordination, communication, implementation follow-up, and adoption of new ways of working.
- Ensure that implemented changes are properly embedded within operational teams and reflected in relevant processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Contribute to the development of a continuous improvement culture, encouraging teams to challenge existing processes and identify more efficient ways of working.
- Support ad hoc Financial Security transformation, Business Analysis, and operational excellence initiatives as business and regulatory priorities evolve.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with various IT tools.
- Procedure writing (preferable).
- Strong interest in finance and banking (products) (preferable).
- Strong communicator, diplomatic, and customer-oriented.
- Able to work independently.
- Stress resistant and flexible.
- Problem-solver.
- Accuracy and precision, quality-minded.
- Fluent in English.
- Native in French or Dutch (one of the two languages is needed).
- 50% on-site & 50% homeworking expected.
