Analista de testes/QA

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de testes/QA based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity to join a multidisciplinary squad building a new digital product for the financial sector. You will play a central role in defining and executing the quality strategy across the entire product lifecycle. The position covers end-to-end testing across native iOS and Android applications, APIs, backend services, and integrations. You will work with modern architectures, including modular applications and Server-Driven UI (SDUI). The role combines functional, exploratory, integration, regression, automated, and end-to-end testing practices. You will collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Backend, Mobile, and development teams to identify risks early and prevent defects. This is a hands-on environment where your technical judgment and quality mindset can directly influence product reliability and customer experience.

Accountabilities

• Define and execute the overall test strategy for the product, ensuring comprehensive coverage across functional and technical requirements.
• Participate in story refinements with Product Owners and development teams, analyzing requirements, acceptance criteria, risks, and potential quality gaps.
• Design and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, evidence, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end tests across complete customer journeys.
• Validate native iOS and Android applications across different operating system versions and devices.
• Test complete workflows involving mobile applications, APIs, backend services, and external integrations.
• Validate business rules and critical product journeys, including group creation, participant management, expense entries, value splitting, balances, and related functionality.
• Perform API and backend testing, validating contracts, payloads, response codes, exception handling, and business rules.
• Create and maintain automated tests for critical product journeys and support their integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, track, and support the investigation of defects, working closely with developers to identify root causes.
• Contribute to performance, security, resilience, and availability testing activities.
• Monitor quality indicators and recommend continuous improvements to testing and software development processes.

Requirements

• Professional experience as a Test Analyst, QA Engineer, Software Quality Analyst, or in a comparable role.
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications, ideally across both iOS and Android environments.
• Experience testing APIs and backend services, including validation of payloads, contracts, response codes, and business rules.
• Strong understanding of software testing strategies, methodologies, and techniques.
• Practical experience with test automation and automated testing frameworks or tools.
• Experience working within Agile development environments and multidisciplinary squads.
• Experience with defect management, investigation, documentation, and follow-up.
• Knowledge of Git and version-control practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating quality practices into development workflows.
• Ability to analyze application and system logs to investigate issues and identify potential root causes.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, structured problem-solving, and effective communication skills.
• Experience with large-scale financial products, Super Apps, or Server-Driven UI is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes is desirable.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or equivalent technologies is desirable.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or K6 is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and Quality Engineering practices is desirable.
