As an Identity and Access Management Senior Associate you will focus on cybersecurity incident management, helping identify, analyze, and resolve security incidents while supporting secure systems and protecting sensitive data within our Cybersecurity practice. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, mentor junior team members, and use professional judgment to navigate ambiguity while delivering work that aligns with firm methods and technical standards. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will contribute to client support activities, interpret data to inform recommendations, anticipate team and client needs, and deepen your technical skills across identity and access management and incident response.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing identity and access management incidents to identify root causes and prioritize remediation actions
- Managing assigned workstreams for access reviews, account lifecycle issues, and privileged access concerns across client environments
- Reviewing authentication, authorization, and access control configurations to identify vulnerabilities and reduce exposure
- Applying cybersecurity frameworks, incident response plans, and security management tools to support threat mitigation efforts
- Interpreting log data, security alerts, and system activity to inform response actions and investigation findings
- Coordinating remediation tasks across technical teams to restore secure access and limit business disruption
- Documenting incident details, investigation outcomes, and corrective actions in a clear and consistent format
- Guiding junior team members on incident triage, analysis methods, and case documentation practices
- Building client relationships by responding to access-related questions and translating technical findings into practical recommendations
- Tracking recurring access risks and trends to improve identity controls and strengthen future incident response
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 to 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to incident response and cyber defense, including GIAC (eg., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent incident response credentials
- Demonstrating identity and access management experience in client service settings
- Interpreting access controls, authentication flows, and security events
- Utilizing cybersecurity tools, methodologies, and analytical thinking
- Anticipating team and client needs while navigating ambiguity
- Mentoring junior team members and reinforcing technical standards
