Mission of the Role

Are you passionate about the low-voltage electric motor market and excited to be part of a global company transforming the industry with cutting-edge technology? ABB is looking for a Sales Manager to join our Motion team in Brazil.

If you have experience with distribution channels, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), system integrators and end users, know a range of applications such as pumps, compressors, fans and gearmotors, and are ready to grow the market for low-voltage IEC motors, this opportunity is for you!

Work Location

  • Open to candidates from anywhere in Brazil. You will need to work on-site in Sorocaba (SP) at least one week per month.

Responsibilities

  • Grow the market for standard low-voltage IEC electric motors through different sales channels.
  • Find and win new customers to increase ABB's presence in priority segments.
  • Manage and develop active accounts by visiting customers and partners across Brazil often, building long-term relationships and steady growth.
  • Lead sales opportunities and projects from first contact to closing.
  • Lead and develop the team, keeping everyone aligned with sales targets.
  • Manage the pipeline, opportunities and sales forecasts in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in sales management, including leading teams of sales coordinators and sales representatives.
  • Technical and commercial knowledge of low-voltage electric motors and applications such as pumps, irrigation, compressors, fans and ventilation, and gearmotors.
  • Experience with Salesforce and advanced English.
  • Willingness to travel often across Brazil (about 75% of the time at customer sites) and to work on-site in Sorocaba (SP) at least one week per month.

Nice to Have / Differentiators

  • Knowledge of these markets: water and wastewater, food and beverage, oil and gas, mining, pulp and paper, and general industry.
  • Experience with mechanical power transmission.
