JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Bilingual TA Co-Op

Replacement or New Role: Replacement

Term: 8 Month Co-Op Term (January 2027– August 2027)

Reports to: Manager, Talent Acquisition

Direct Reports: None

Hiring Range: $21.00/hour

Bonus: Yes

Language: Bilingual – English, French

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to understand the recruitment life cycle and best practices from start to finish.
  • Follow company’s recruitment protocols and process at managing all applicants via in-house tracking system.
  • Maintain accurate records, providing weekly updates to hiring managers on the candidates’ pipeline and progress.
  • Participate in weekly recruitment meetings, providing updates on portfolio and any recommendations on the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates and hiring managers following recruitment processes.
  • Identify candidates through job board databases, online tools, social media and other ad-hoc resources.
  • Support additional recruiting efforts and participate in projects as required.
  • Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in construction, skilled trades, equipment operation, agriculture, or a related hands-on field

  • 3rd or final year of university or college in an HR or Business program.
  • Exposure to full cycle recruitment considered a strong asset in a previous co-op term.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in customer service or sales considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with client groups (internal) to work in a collaborative and consultative manner.
  • Previous experience using ATS considered an asset
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at a time.
  • Critical thinking, good judgement, and the ability to recognize opportunities.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
