POSITION OVERVIEW

Please note that this role is temporary for 18 months.

As a Client Support Coordinator, you will provide administrative, operational, and client service support to ensure an efficient client experience and smooth day-to-day business operations.

You will work closely with internal teams and external clients, coordinating activities, maintaining accurate records, and supporting business processes in a fast-paced environment. At BDC, you can be yourself at work while contributing to meaningful outcomes for Canadian entrepreneurs.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET

  • Deliver timely and professional support to clients through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Coordinate administrative and operational activities to support client relationship management and business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and data within designated systems and databases.
  • Prepare, review, and process client-related documentation while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor service requests and follow up with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support scheduling, meeting coordination, and business correspondence.
  • Assist with reporting, file management, and operational workflow activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance client service and operational efficiency.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, Customer Service, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service, client support, administrative coordination, banking, financial services, or a related environment.
  • Experience managing client inquiries and maintaining professional client relationships.
  • Experience coordinating administrative processes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems or similar business applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Experience in banking, commercial banking, lending, financial services, or professional services environments.
  • Knowledge of client onboarding, documentation management, or account administration processes.
  • Experience with Workday, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable CRM and enterprise systems.
  • Experience supporting business development, account management, or client relationship teams.
  • Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, or document control processes within a financial services environment.
