About the Role

Dyson Canada is seeking a strategic, commercially driven, and highly collaborative Marketing Manager, Home to join the Marketing team on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role leads the marketing strategy and execution for Dyson Canada's Home portfolio, including Floorcare, Environmental Care, and future Home innovation categories. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end marketing plans that drive awareness, consideration, market share growth, and commercial performance.

This role owns the complete 360° go-to-market strategy for new product launches, category campaigns, and commercial activations, partnering closely with Sales, Media, PR, E-Commerce, Retail Marketing, Global, and U.S. stakeholders to ensure flawless execution across all consumer touchpoints.

The ideal candidate combines strong brand and commercial marketing expertise with analytical rigor, exceptional project management skills, and a passion for bringing innovative products to market.

Key

Responsibilities

Category Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the Canadian marketing strategy for Floorcare, Environmental Care, and emerging Home technology categories.
  • Develop annual category plans aligned with commercial objectives, consumer insights, and global strategic direction.
  • Identify growth opportunities to drive category penetration, revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Act as the Canadian category expert, providing recommendations on portfolio strategy, innovation opportunities, and market dynamics.

Product Launches & Go-to-Market Planning

  • Own the development and execution of comprehensive 360° go-to-market launch plans for all Home category product launches.
  • Coordinate launch activities across media, PR, retail, e-commerce, CRM, social, experiential, and in-store channels.
  • Partner with Global and U.S. teams to localize launch strategies for the Canadian market inclusive of retailers specific assortment.
  • Manage launch timelines, milestone tracking, stakeholder alignment, and post-launch performance reviews.
  • Ensure flawless execution of all new product introductions and seasonal campaigns.

Commercial & Business Planning

  • Develop category forecasts, demand assumptions, and commercial performance projections.
  • Present and demonstrate upcoming Dyson innovations to third-party retail partners and internal teams, building excitement and driving product listings and sales.
  • Support pricing strategy development, promotional planning, and business case creation.
  • Build market share projections and category growth analyses to support annual planning cycles.
  • Monitor category trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance teams to identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.

Budget Ownership & Financial Management

  • Own Home category marketing budgets and investment planning.
  • Manage forecasts, purchase orders, accruals, and budget reconciliation.
  • Evaluate marketing investments to ensure optimal return on investment.
  • Work closely with Finance to track spending and recommend investment reallocations based on business performance.

Agency & Supplier Management

  • Lead relationships with external agencies, creative partners, production vendors, and specialized suppliers.
  • Develop clear briefs and ensure execution against agreed deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee asset production and campaign implementation across all consumer touchpoints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the central point of coordination for all Home category initiatives.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on launch priorities, timing, messaging, and performance objectives.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor category performance, marketing effectiveness, and sales results.
  • Analyze market share trends, retail performance, competitive activity, and campaign outcomes.
  • Develop executive-level presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Drive a culture of performance measurement and continuous improvement

About You:

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Category Management, or Marketing Management roles.
  • Experience leading consumer product launches and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in forecasting, pricing strategy, and budget ownership.
  • Experience managing external agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience in premium consumer goods, technology, retail, or related industries is preferred.
  • Able to work onsite 5 days per week to support collaboration, launch planning, and cross-functional execution

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced business education is considered an asset.

Salary: $112,000-$140,000 annually + bonus opportunity
