HART Hub Operations Manager

1 FTE Contract to March 31st 2028

Thunder Bay Site

One of a network of provincial community health centres, the NorWest Community Health Centres is a community based, non-profit organization funded by Ontario Health, emphasizing access to primary health care and prevention programs and services.

We are currently seeking a full-time contract HART Hub Operations Manager to provide leadership and support for the day-to-day operations of the HART Hub Health Clinic. The Operations Manager will ensure the unique health and social needs of vulnerable populations are being met through services offered. Develop and update policies/procedures and implementing risk mitigation strategies where needed and work closely with partner organizations in project planning and implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, development, delivery of the Health Clinic programs and services, and other related duties may be assigned as required at the HART Hub.

The position has a competitive salary, the Health Care of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) and an excellent group health benefit package.

The pay range for this position is $86,216 to $99,884 per year. Compensation will commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in a related field or a combination of educational experiences.

Three (3) to five (5) years’ management experience, preferably in a health setting.

Experience in a community-based primary health care setting, addictions, homelessness, and/or mental health is an asset.

Current or previous registration as a Regulated Health Professional is preferred.

Strong understanding and alignment with the concepts of trauma-informed care and culturally safer care.

Ability to navigate complex case management situations, advocate for clients effectively, create safety plans, and manage risk.

Demonstrated leadership experience in change management, quality improvement processes, working within an interdisciplinary team model of care, and developing/maintaining collaborative partnerships.
