Position Purpose:

The Internal Communications Manager develops and delivers communication strategies that inform, engage, and align employees with Infrastructure Ontario's vision, culture, priorities, and business objectives. Acting as a strategic communications advisor to senior leaders, the role leads internal communications planning, employee engagement initiatives, change communications, and employer brand activities. Working across the organization, the position helps strengthen employee understanding, engagement, and connection to organizational priorities.

What You Will Do:

Develop and execute internal communications strategies that support corporate priorities, organizational transformation, and employee engagement.

Partner with senior leaders to create messaging, presentations, town hall content, and communications that strengthen awareness, alignment, and engagement across the organization.

Manage content and communications across internal channels, including the intranet, employee newsletters, broadcast communications, digital signage, and leadership communications.

Act as the communications business partner for key internal portfolios, including People & Culture, employee engagement initiatives, technology-related communications, and corporate programs.

Lead communications planning and execution for organizational change and transformation initiatives, ensuring employees receive timely, relevant, and clear information.

Support Infrastructure Ontario's employee value proposition and employer brand by developing campaigns and content that strengthen employee engagement and talent attraction.

Monitor and analyze employee engagement and communications performance metrics, providing recommendations to improve effectiveness and reach.

Work collaboratively with communications colleagues and business leaders to enhance internal communications practices, tools, and processes.

Who You Are

Post-secondary education in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline an asset.

Several years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, change management communications, corporate communications, or a related field.

Demonstrated experience developing and implementing internal communications strategies and engagement initiatives within a complex organization.

Strong experience supporting senior leaders through communications planning, executive messaging, presentations, and employee engagement activities.

Exceptional written communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and advise leaders at all levels.

Experience supporting organizational change, transformation initiatives, employee engagement programs, or employer branding activities.

We offer a competitive salary range of $108,700 to $127,300 (P5 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
