What you will do:

The Marketing and Community Engagement Liaison will strategically engage community stakeholders, nonprofit organizations, industry and regional businesses to improve CF program delivery, utilization of services, and collaboration with Community Futures. The role will leverage data and client needs to develop an effective marketing and community engagement plan that attracts clients, reaches specific demographics and promotes under-utilized services. As a social media representative for the organization, the Marketing and Community Engagement Liaison helps drive engagement about CF and its services through various online platforms.

This role will liaise across the organization on initiatives and priorities set out by the Manager of Employment Services which relate to employment, business or community issues. Key to this role is strong community knowledge and engagement in order to inform and support Community Futures services and programs, overall brand management and compliance with the ability to flex strategies to adapt to trends while meeting the mission of CF.

What we need from you

Education and Certification

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing/Administration, Communications, Business Administration, Management or related field
  • Must have a valid class 5 license and be able to carry and set up equipment
  • Project Management certification considered an asset

Skills and Experience

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit setting considered an asset
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), social media platforms, and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). Familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • A solid understanding and demonstrated experience working on marketing programs, communications, events, and/or promotions

Salary Range: $26.50-$33 per hour, pending experience
