Meat/Deli Clerk

Riverton Co-op is seeking a Meat/Deli Clerk for their Food Store in Riverton, MB.

The potential candidate must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. Outstanding customer service skills and attention to detail are important traits that one must possess. Experience not necessary as training will be provided to a suitable applicant.

CASUAL EMPLOYMENT AS PER OPERATIONS that will include alternate weekends. Casual hours may lead to increased hours to part-time employment.

What you’ll do:

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
• Engaging with customers and offering product information, providing selling suggestions, and always giving a genuine concern for their needs.
• Focusing on providing fast & friendly customer service.
• Must be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean location.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision on occasion.
• Prepare, wrap, slice and stock product as required.
• Department maintenance, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Other duties as assigned.
