A Taste of the Job

As our Quality Assurance Technician – On Call, you will help ensure our products and processes meet our food safety, quality, customer, and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of quality control tests and activities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Plan and coordinate third-party laboratory testing activities.
  • Ensure required parameters and results are accurately documented during R&D runs.
  • Attend and participate in production transition and QA meetings.
  • Investigate customer complaints and prepare written responses in accordance with the E-Power Centre program.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze statistical quality data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with documenting and evaluating internal audit findings and implementing corrective actions.
  • Support ongoing compliance with product safety and quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Follow all requirements of the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.
  • Understand the location and use of Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS).
  • Understand and use the appropriate safety equipment required for specific job tasks.
  • Understand the chemicals used for cleaning specific equipment and follow applicable safety requirements.

Schedule

  • On-call position with shifts scheduled in advance on a weekly basis.
  • Must be available to work weekends as scheduled.
  • Schedule changes may occasionally be required due to emergencies or operational/business needs.
