Client: Service New Brunswick (SNB) – Social DevelopmentRequisition: SNB – SD – QA AnalystLocation: Remote, with optional onsite work in Fredericton, NBOnsite Location: 551 King St., Fredericton, NBContract: October 19, 2026 – December 31, 2026 - Possible ExtensionsSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM–4:30 PM ASTWork Arrangement: Remote or onsiteEngagement: Full-time contractPosition OverviewService New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the Digital Transformation initiatives within the Department of Social Development.Social Development has been using Salesforce technology since 2022 to support the delivery of social services, including service applications, client needs assessments, care plans, monitoring, and reporting.The successful QA Analyst will play a leadership role in ensuring the quality, stability, reliability, and performance of Salesforce-based applications, with particular emphasis on Salesforce Health Cloud and Service Cloud.The resource will be responsible for developing and executing manual and automated test cases, test plans, regression testing, integration testing, data validation, defect management, QA reporting, and quality strategy. The QA Analyst will work closely with development teams, business stakeholders, product owners, and support teams and will participate in requirement reviews to identify potential defects early in the development lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesQA Strategy & Test Planning- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive QA strategies and test plans.
- Participate in the development of project-level test plans and QA procedures.
- Review business and technical requirements and perform requirements/gap analysis.
- Identify potential defects and quality risks early in the SDLC.
- Establish appropriate approaches for manual versus automated testing.
- Create and maintain QA reports, testing documentation, and quality metrics.
- Design, develop, document, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing.
- Conduct regression, integration, connectivity, cross-browser/platform, performance, and end-to-end testing.
- Execute test cases for Salesforce releases, upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality.
- Maintain repositories of manual and automated test cases based on requirements and change requests.
- Develop and maintain performance testing initiatives in accordance with QA best practices.
- Test Salesforce Health Cloud and Service Cloud functionality.
- Test complex Case Management and workflow automation within Salesforce data models.
- Validate Salesforce CRM business processes, configurations, workflows, and functionality.
- Test Salesforce access, permissions, roles, profiles, sharing, and security models.
- Validate complex CRM data objects and business rules.
- Test Salesforce features and functionality against established best practices.
- Perform testing related to data integrity and data quality.
- Validate complex CRM data objects and associated data-quality rules.
- Participate in data migration testing, including test planning, execution, reconciliation, and validation.
- Validate data accuracy before, during, and after migration.
- Perform end-to-end integration testing between Salesforce/CRM and external systems.

- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demonstrations, requirement reviews, and quality review sessions.
- Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, product owners, business users, and other QA resources.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, and manage defects through resolution.
- Maintain accurate defect records and update testing status daily.
- Provide written status and progress reports as required.
- Communicate testing progress, risks, issues, and quality concerns to project stakeholders.
- Participate in quality review sessions and project/release meetings.
- Support and assist business users with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Participate in solution design, product demonstrations, and reviews.
- Provide QA expertise to cross-functional project teams.
- Cross-train other QA testers and support knowledge transfer to ensure continuity within the project team.
