Paid Media Specialist
Job description
VirtueStaff is seeking a Paid Media Specialist / Media Buyer to build and manage the paid customer acquisition engine for a hospitality and surf retreat business. In this role, the candidate will take direct ownership of paid social advertising across Facebook and Instagram, translating target booking and revenue goals into actionable campaign economics, audience strategies, and performance tests. Working directly with the founder as an in-house team member, the specialist will transform raw photo and video assets into high-converting campaigns to drive reservations ahead of brand launch.
Responsibilities
- Plan, build, launch, and manage performance-focused advertising campaigns across Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram).
- Reverse-engineer booking and revenue targets to determine required lead volume, customer acquisition costs (CAC), and conversion benchmarks.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign KPIs, conversion rates, and acquisition efficiency to maintain continuous account growth.
- Execute structured split-testing / A/B testing protocols for campaign structures, ad copy, and creative variations.
- Transform raw photo and video assets into high-converting ad creative variations designed to drive bookings.
- Build and operationalize the paid media acquisition framework prior to campaign launches and maintain ongoing performance tuning.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of dedicated experience in paid media buying, with specialist-level expertise in Facebook and Instagram advertising ecosystems.
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and optimize performance campaigns independently based on strict KPI tracking (CAC, conversion rates, ROI).
- Proven experience converting raw visual assets into performance-driven ad creative.
- Deep knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, audience targeting, conversion tracking, and campaign analytics.
- Strong organizational skills, self-accountability, and ability to collaborate directly with business founders without requiring micromanagement.
- Spanish bilingual required.
