In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise.

KLA Corporation is seeking a dynamic & experienced Regional Product Marketing Manager to drive the adoption and growth of our advanced process solutions (Etch, PVD, CVD, Release Etch) within a specific geographical region.

This role will be responsible for developing & implementing Customer specific regional marketing strategies, collaborating with sales and product development teams, and ultimately contributing to market share expansion and revenue generation.

What the role is about?

Process mapping

To identify the opportunity matrix in existing process flow at customer sites.

Qualifying an opportunity

Work with Product Managers at HQ to generate score card based on strategic value, TAM & commercial situation. Arrive at a consensus weather it should be pursued or not.

Customer road map:

• Identify N+1 and N+2 process requirements

• Report back to product management.

Sales support - once an opportunity is qualified:

• Work closely with Sales team

• Provide tool specs for contract managers & BU for quote generation

• Provide responses to questions from customer & sales team.

• Follow up further with Conference calls and on site visits

• Progress the opportunity through technical discussion & presentation.

On-site Evaluation tool management:

• Be a single point of contact between field team and Factory

• Keep track of progress of evaluation

• Explain the progress made and highlight if any CIPs are needed

• All these should be backed up by data generated onsite

Customer Demos (For qualified opportunities):

• Discuss the demo requirements in detail

• Co-work to complete the demo request form

• Review it with the customer and BU.

• Take part in live demo on a case-by-case basis

Competitor analysis

Using a variety of information sources, learn about our competitors’ products in terms of specifications, pricing, development plans etc. Assist the Product Managers in maintaining a competitor database.

Tool performance & CIPs

Review tool performance and determine if existing CIPs helps or new CIPs are needed.

Market research

Develop an understanding of regional market and trends using knowledge gained from customers, suppliers, analysts (including our own Market Analyst), conference papers, internet research, etc.

Product promotion

Attend trade shows and conferences. Contribute to technical papers & give presentations at the same. Identify new opportunities to promote the products and SPTS. Online promotion through webinars.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied science with 5 years of ideally fab experience / Master’s or PhD with 3 years of ideally fab experience.
  • Proven experience of wafer processing gained either at an equipment vendor or a wafer fab.
  • Regional Product Manager experience with Semiconductor capital equipment OEMs will be an added advantage.
  • Fluent language skills both in English and German necessary.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, pro-active personality with positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with customers.
  • Willingness to work across multiple levels within the company & across regions.
