What You'll Do

Lead our commercial transformation across EMEA, managing approximately 50 FTEs across Sales, Marketing execution, and Customer Success, serving corporate clients with language training, cultural consulting, and digital learning.

We are changing fast, and the playbook is still being written. We need a leader with a strong bias for action, who decides with incomplete information and keeps the team winning while priorities and markets shift.

• Set direction and move fast in ambiguous situations: make the call, learn from results, and adjust quickly
• Turn shifting priorities and incomplete data into clear plans and owners

• Performance & Accountability

  • Build a winning culture with clear KPIs and outcomes for every role
  • Run tight rhythms: pipeline reviews, forecast calls, and monthly business reviews
  • Create transparency with dashboards and scorecards; reward top performers and address underperformance decisively

• Commercial Strategy & Operations

  • Lead the shift to modern EdTech/SaaS selling: consultative, value-based, and platform-led with recurring revenue
  • Own ambitious revenue targets across B2B corporate and enterprise segments
  • Build predictable pipeline using SPICED, MEDDIC, or Value Selling
  • Drive Salesforce adoption with zero tolerance for poor data hygiene; partner with Revenue Operations on playbooks and analytics

• Team, Marketing & Customer Success

  • Recruit A-players, design for clear ownership, and break down silos between Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Hold local marketing to sales-level rigor on pipeline contribution and ROI
  • Run Customer Success as a commercial function accountable for retention, NRR, and expansion

What You'll Bring

• 12+ years in B2B sales, including 5+ leading multi-functional commercial teams of 40-60+

• Proven record of exceeding revenue targets and turning underperforming teams into top performers

• Bias for action: you decide quickly, move without perfect information, and course-correct fast

• Energized by ambiguity and change: you bring clarity, steadiness, and momentum when plans shift

• Obsessive focus on metrics; comfortable with direct performance conversations and tough people decisions

• Competitive drive and urgency, resilience under pressure, and zero tolerance for excuses, politics, or mediocrity

• EdTech, SaaS, or corporate training experience strongly preferred

• Executive presence in English and German (additional languages valued); success leading across EMEA cultures; 20-30% travel

• First Year: Achieve or exceed revenue targets, improve quota attainment by 20%+, upgrade several key roles with higher performers, and establish a high-performance culture
• Long-Term: Scale EMEA to 25%+ YoY growth and achieve top-quartile commercial metrics
