We are looking for interns to join our Customer IT Infrastructure Solutions (CITIS) department at BEUMER Group. As part of the team, you will work alongside experienced specialists and gain practical experience with cybersecurity, hardening, compliance, automation, and infrastructure technologies in international customer environments.One team

In CITIS, we help design, implement, secure and maintain IT infrastructure solutions for customers around the world. As a cybersecurity intern, you will become part of a collaborative and supportive team where you will work on real-world challenges alongside skilled colleagues. Your tasks could be:

• Supporting cybersecurity assessments and compliance activities based on frameworks such as CIS Benchmarks and IEC 62443
• Participating in hardening and security improvement initiatives for servers, databases, virtual environments and infrastructure platforms Assisting with vulnerability management, security reviews and risk mitigation activities
• Developing and improving technical documentation, security guidelines and operational procedures
• Working with automation tools such as PowerShell and Power Automate to streamline security and infrastructure processes
• Supporting customer projects involving Microsoft, VMware, SQL Server and cloud technologies Collaborating with specialists across cybersecurity, infrastructure, operations, and project teams

As an intern at CITIS, you will be treated as a valued member of the team and be involved in meaningful projects from day one. You will gain practical experience applying cybersecurity principles in real customer environments while developing both your technical and professional skills.

The internship offers a unique opportunity to work with modern security practices, learn from experienced colleagues, and understand how cybersecurity, operational requirements, and business needs must be balanced in large-scale IT environments.
