For our Service Station in Helsinki, Finland, we are looking for a new colleague to join us as a Junior Service Engineer. In this role, you will support the repair, maintenance and overhaul of Accelleron turbochargers and contribute to high-quality service delivery for our customers.

Your

responsibilities

Service delivery – Perform service tasks and support the identification and analysis of technical issues through remote or on-site activities, including installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, retrofits, replacements and related service assignments.

Customer focus – Contribute to customer satisfaction by carrying out service work in line with customer orders, expectations and Accelleron standards. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand customer needs and communicate potential sales opportunities internally.

Materials and preparation – Coordinate and prepare the required materials, parts, tools and equipment, ensuring they are available and meet the right quality standards for service activities.

Documentation and reporting – Prepare service documents and reports for customer approval, report work completed in a timely manner and follow up on open actions where required.

Troubleshooting – Identify potential equipment failures, troubleshoot technical issues and recommend corrective actions to help prevent recurring problems.

Operational excellence – Share suggestions for product, process and quality improvements and provide recommendations to improve service operations and the customer experience.

Health, safety and integrity – Apply safety rules, safe working practices and environmental responsibilities, and report unsafe practices, near misses or incidents in line with company procedures.

Your background:

Technical education and a solid understanding of mechanical systems;

Hands-on experience working with engines, tools and mechanical equipment. Experience with larger engines and/or related mechanical technologies in the marine segment is an advantage.

A service-minded, flexible and collaborative approach.

Flexibility to work outside normal office hours when needed and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Willingness to travel and work on field service assignments, potentially up to 50% of working time.

Basic computer skills and the ability to work with digital service tools and reporting systems.

Good written and spoken English; Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.

A valid category B driving license.
