AI Solutions Engineer

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements

• Programming and scripting experience, such as Python and API development
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with AI or large language model platforms, prompt engineering, and agentic tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users and work with minimal supervision
• Experience with software development lifecycles, agile delivery, or the construction, utilities, or infrastructure sectors is advantageous
• A degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience, is desirable

Responsibilities

• Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions
• Work directly with end users to develop AI use cases, automated workflows, agents, and integrations using technologies including Claude, Claude Code, and Cowork
• Develop APIs and scripts, test and document solutions, and support the adoption of AI across the organisation
