Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and dashboard development
- Experience using SQL to query, transform and prepare data
- Experience analysing data and translating complex datasets into clear business insight
- Stakeholder engagement and requirements-gathering skills
- Experience with data quality, validation and reconciliation
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to a range of audiences
- Experience with Databricks, Salesforce reporting, Python, Azure/AWS, ETL technologies or data modelling is highly beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, meaningful insights
- Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, performance drivers and opportunities
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into reporting solutions
- Build and maintain data models, DAX measures and visualisations using Power BI best practices
- Ensure data accuracy through validation, cleansing, reconciliation and data-quality controls
- Automate recurring reporting and improve existing dashboards and analytical solutions
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Support reporting, data-driven decision-making and the development of analytical solutions across the organisation

We are seeking an experienced Data/BI Analyst for a contract role outside IR35, with 2–3 days on site in Manchester.
