Salary: £45,000 - 55,000 per year
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role
- Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder-engagement skills
- Experience facilitating workshops and working with stakeholders at different levels
- Strong process-analysis and process-mapping capability
- Experience identifying gaps, root causes, dependencies and improvement opportunities
- Understanding of Agile, waterfall or hybrid project environments
- Experience supporting UAT and solution validation
- Excellent organisational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with business and technical audiences
- Proactive, analytical and improvement-focused approach
- Curiosity, commercial awareness, and confidence asking questions and challenging requirements where appropriate
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information
Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activity across assigned projects and workstreams
- Work with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party suppliers to understand business needs and objectives
- Plan and facilitate workshops, interviews and requirements-gathering sessions
- Elicit, document, prioritise and manage functional and non-functional requirements
- Challenge requirements and identify assumptions, gaps, dependencies and risks
- Analyse and document current- and future-state processes
- Complete gap analysis across people, process, data, systems and policy
- Work with technical and solution teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business requirements
- Support User Acceptance Testing, including test scenarios, defect clarification and business sign-off
- Produce requirements documentation, process maps, decision records and supporting project documentation
- Support project governance, including RAID logs, action trackers and change impact assessments
- Manage smaller workstreams independently where required
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, data quality and user experience
- Support business, IT or systems change across the project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through solution validation, UAT and transition into business as usual

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team and help deliver business and technology change across the Group. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will work on a varied portfolio of projects and help shape how our processes and systems develop. The role is based in Wiltshire and is 100% office-based. It is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary of £45,000–£55,000, depending on experience, plus an excellent benefits package.
