Contractor Engagement Manager
Job description
In this role you will build relationships with both clients and contractors, connecting organisations with the right people for upcoming projects and opportunities. You'll play a key role in developing a scalable sourcing solution, influencing how the service evolves while delivering real value to clients, contractors and the wider business.
- Build trusted relationships with clients to understand upcoming projects, contractor requirements and supply chain challenges.
- Engage with contractors across the network, identifying opportunities and maintaining strong levels of participation and engagement.
- Match client opportunities with suitable contractors, facilitating introductions and supporting successful connections.
- Drive adoption of the contractor marketplace by promoting its value, gathering user feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with Account Management, Product, Marketing and Business Development teams to support marketplace growth and enhance the client and contractor experience.
- Experience in sourcing, recruitment, business development, account management, contractor engagement or relationship management.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to engage confidently with clients, contractors and senior stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities that create mutual value.
- Strong communication, presentation and networking skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
- Experience working within contractor, compliance, accreditation, workforce management or supply chain environments.
- Experience working with online marketplaces, sourcing platforms or talent platforms.
- Experience analysing workforce, contractor or market trends.
- Familiarity with CRM, marketplace or sourcing systems.
- Experience working in KPI-driven environments.
- Experience engaging with independent contractors or SME networks
