Requirements

  • Experience in project delivery, project controls, reporting, or information management within a major project environment.
  • Practical understanding of delivery processes and confidence challenging information that does not reflect activity on the ground.
  • Experience coordinating data or progress returns from suppliers and delivery partners.
  • Ability to investigate data-quality and reporting issues and drive them through to resolution.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities across several workstreams.
  • Clear communication and effective stakeholder-engagement skills.
  • Experience using reporting, workflow, or information-management systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel capability.
  • Ability to obtain the required level of security clearance.
  • Experience in nuclear, major construction, infrastructure, or manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Primavera P6, Field View, material-tracking systems, quality records, completions processes, or BS EN ISO 19650 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Check progress, quality, manufacturing, and completion information against activity on site and in factories.
  • Apply naming, coding, and data standards at source, correcting or rejecting information that does not meet the required standard.
  • Review scope completeness and reconcile reported progress against programme baselines and forecasts.
  • Identify missing, inconsistent, or poor-quality information and work with project teams and suppliers to resolve issues.
  • Monitor the timeliness and completeness of quality records ahead of valuations and handover.
  • Coordinate weekly supplier data returns, including reports, schedules, and material-tracking information.
  • Support suppliers and delivery teams with reporting processes, systems, and data requirements.
  • Contribute to improvements in data collection, reporting workflows, and operational visibility.
  • Improve data quality at source and ensure reliable information is available to support delivery decisions.

We are recruiting a Data Coordinator for the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), supporting the construction of Sizewell C within the Main Civil Works Section. Sizewell C is a 3.2-gigawatt power station intended to provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes for at least 60 years. This is a practical, delivery-focused role, working with project teams, suppliers, and the Transverse Data & Reporting Service to provide reliable information for project valuations and quality records for handover.
